Sharing our family with yours

Southern Vermont Golden Retrievers is a small family owned breeder located in Chester, Vermont. Our love for Goldens runs deep and has been passed on from generation to generation with these wonderful dogs being important members of our family. 

We are a blended family and early on in our relationship worked with a rescue organization to foster dogs until they found their furever homes. In 2019 we brought our first Golden into our home together. Cooper quickly won the hearts of all giving constant kisses and snuggles and in the fall of 2020 we brought home Stella. As Cooper and Stella grew our four boys continued to ask for more puppies and we realized how wonderful it would be to have a litter of our own. As time has gone by we have continued to add to our fur family and are excitedly announcing our first litter in November of 2022. We are committed to safe healthy breeding practices and finding wonderful homes for our pups.

Ben and Gianina are both from Vermont and have strong commitments and pride in their family and community. Gianina is a Nurse Practitioner and Ben works for the Division of Fire Safety and is Assistant Chief of the Chester Fire Department. They both are active in the community helping to coach youth sports and engaged in local organizations. In addition to Goldens they have their first dog, a Puerto Rican rescue named Midas.
